DIY Play doh

I LOVE play doh, it is one of my favourite things in the world. One of my earliest memories is of me fighting with a girl over a particular colour of play doh because I needed it to finish my cherry pie. There is very little you can't create with play doh and sometimes it is just nice to stick your finger in it because it feels squishy. So we decided to make some play doh today using the school's recipe which is
2 cups of flour
1 cup of salt
2 tbsp of cooking oil
2 tsp of cream of tartar
2 cups of boiling water
and a few drops of food colouring if you wish
It has turned out really well, so I am planning to make some for nursery as the play doh we have in there is a bit bitty and tends to get everywhere.
We also had our carpets cleaned last saturday, which was fab! Lewis took some photos of the clean carpets, because he likes to do that ever since he used to do the carpet cleaning. Can't wait for the new flooring on Thursday, hurray!
