So, it rained on Monday, and it is raining today, but look at the weather yesterday when we chose to go out!

She's just so pretty

Sometimes, I just have a moment where I look at my children and I am amazed.  Not only at how beautiful or handsome they are on the outside, but also on the inside.  Caitlin has such beautiful hair and a pretty face, but she has also just spent about half an hour voluntarily cleaning the conservatory so that her and the boys can sleep in there.  The boys didn't help her, but she did it anyway, by herself, because she loves to have fun with them.

The 4am wake up call

It seems to have become a bit of a habit for me to wake up at 4am! I'm not really sure why, as Elmo is still fast asleep, but there we are!    I have experienced a similar thing with all of my pregnancies, and usually the time I wake up during pregnancy is the time the baby wakes up after he/ she (but mostly he) is born.

It's difficult to know what to do.  On the one hand I am usually fairly awake and can get things done, BUT if I do that, it means I am shattered for the rest of the day and soon that will mean I am tired at work.  If I lay in bed, I am tossing and turning for ages, though I do entertain myself with Twitter, Facebook and Sims!!!  Very often I also disturb Lewis, though I try not to!

Anyhow, I got up this morning because in addition to my 4am wake up call, I also seem to be really hungry the last few days and I forgot to put cereal bars in my drawer yesterday.  So here I am, awake at silly o'clock and pondering whether or not to have asparagus for first breakfast....The joys of pregnancy!

Summer Holidays 2012 a bit more!

Today the kids and I went to the library, to the cinema to watch Ice Age 4, lunch at the Range and an exploration of Normanby Hall! Phew I'm tired!

 Lewis and his little side kick.  Lewis sat down to play on the PS3 before he went off to work and within seconds Esaias was sat beside him, shouting directions for Lewis.  So cute, in a manly type way!

Summer Holidays 2012

 I have figured out how to upload my scrapbook pages to get them printed!  You have no idea how happy this makes me!!!

 I spent a good hour or so giving the car a good clean, and was rewarded when I came inside by my fabulous children who had set out my foot spa for me!

 We knew it was time for Nathan to get out of the paddling pool when his lips turned blue!

 Thursday saw a visit to Bransby Rest Home for Horses.  Fantastic as always!

 And finally the latest (and last we think) picture of Elmo, who is doing well and growing as expected.

And the baby drama continues!

So the baby drama continues...surprised... no?  Me either!  I experienced some very painful Braxton Hicks on Saturday night/ Sunday morning, enough to make us worry I was in premature labour.  They did disappear after a while and the midwives think they were caused because I was over doing it and dehydrated (due to all the throwing up on Saturday, yay!)  Elmo is still moving, and we have a scan on Thursday so we can definitely confirm all is well, but I am EXHUASTED!  The contractions/ sickness have left me feeling bruised all over and it hurts to breath!  Luckily Mum stepped in to have the children so I could get some rest yesterday and last night, but unfortunately I only got about 3 hours sleep so I am still wiped out!  
On the up side, my kids are being very well behaved and my baby is still healthy unlike so many others.  I fully recognise that despite all the "drama" we are very blessed that we still have one tough nut kid who is determined to hang on.
So, you'll find me on the sofa with my feet up drinking lots of water and doing little else for a while!
