What an incredible day! It was so lovely to have most of our friends and family with us to celebrate (missed you Joan and John!)
I spoke about baptism, and Starzsy (Elder) Wright spoke about the Holy Ghost. Nathan's cousins read the 13 Articles of Faith while Nathan and Lewis got changed, and they did so beautifully.
Lewis had done a wonderful job filling the font and making it nice and cosy for Nathan (so much so, a little bird tells me he went for a swim in it afterwards) Lewis, as always, performed a smooth baptism and a beautiful confirmation. But Nathan's testimony stole the show, and rightly so! He gave his testimony after he had been confirmed, and it was just incredible. He talked about how Lewis has said in his blessing that Nathan had taken a "giant leap of faith today", but Nathan said that actually his journey to baptism had been small steps...we cried and our hearts nearly burst with happiness! What a remarkable young man he is.
I am truly in awe of each of my children, they amaze me very day!
