Time is marching on, and my little Phineas moved up from the Church nursery into Primary today. I am currently serving as the 2nd counsellor in the Primary presidency so it's great that I get to see him in Primary as well now. He has officially started 2 full days and a half day at school now, and I am very aware how it will all pass in a flash. For now, I am enjoying the cheeky grins and the cosy cuddles.
Watching him learn new things every day is incredible though, and I love that I managed to capture the moment he first drew me. I am relieved he drew me smiling, that is a good thing, and I gave myself a pat on the back for being a happy Mummy, even if sometimes I feel I have the weight of the world on my shoulders.
We also took the opportunity to pop down to Brigg Garden Centre. No matter how grown up children get, they still love a Unicorn!
