After our very busy morning, Caitlin and I took ourselves off to the beauty salon to relax!
Caitlin had a mini facial and some make up applied, then she had nail art done on her nails. Our general rule with make up is that Caitlin is allowed a little eye shadow and lip gloss (obviously not for school), and no mascara until she is 16! But she did have some mascara on yesterday - definitely as a one off! She looked so grown up! It was really nice to get Caitlin alone on her birthday so we could share some quality time together. Normally I am rushing round organising things so I don't actually get to see her very much, so this was a very good idea, and I am hoping to make it an annual tradition.
