Happy New Year!

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year! I hope 2010 is fab for you! The little Latin geek that lives inside me (I was the only student in my year and last student ever to study A-level Latin at Caistor Grammar School!) is a little excited that the year in Roman numericals is MMX - how neat and cute!
Anyhow, I am hoping change is afoot this year and we are going to be healthier and happier. This is a big year for the children especially. In September Caitlin will move up to Year 3 which will make her a junior (eek!) and Esaias will move up to Year 1 his first official year of proper school work! Nathan, we are hoping, will have moved from Ulceby Pre-School to Wootton St Andrews by September 2010, which will mean that was have him potty trained and I will have no more children in nappies! Hurrah! Caitlin will of course turn 7 this year which is also a big deal in my eyes as it will be the year in which she decides whether she wants to be baptised when she is 8. It has also made me begin to question whether I want her to be baptised - it is ultimately her choice of course, but if she does decide that she wants to, then I want to be able to support her every step of the way. I have a horrid feeling that I may be forced to make a trip to the Bishop's office soon for help to set some things in order - though quite honestly I don't have high hopes of him saying anything very constructive, but I know it will be something I need to try at least.

you need to come over so we can talk properly--no shopping, no kids, no husbands!
