Love is... finding your pregnant wife has pinched your t-shirt to sleep in, and telling her she looks good in it.
I love my husband :)

Me and my irritable uterus!
I thought the midwife was being funny when she said I had an "irritable uterus"... turns out it's not so funny! That is my official diagnosis. What causes this? They don't know. What treats this? Well, nothing. My GP put it very aptly; "You are sitting on a time bomb, anything could trigger it so just rest and every week that goes by means baby is a bit stronger. Anything past 32 weeks is extra bonus points!"
So that's it. I'm off work until next year! I'm not to get stressed (try explaining this to my Dad, who keeps trying to bump himself off!), I can't swim, do exercise, walk too far, go too far from a hospital, lift anything, go anywhere without a mobile phone and my maternity notes, and "that act" that got me in all this mess in the first place is also off the menu (the midwife says I got enough of that 6 months ago!!!)
So mostly, I will be getting well acquainted with the residents of Wisteria Lane, knitting and trying not to go crazy! Fun times ahead :)
What I do try and keep reminding myself is that the bigger picture here is Elmo and I know that my GP is right; every extra week is a bonus. So for the first time ever, I'm going to behave and rest!

Pink Pig
So, it rained on Monday, and it is raining today, but look at the weather yesterday when we chose to go out!
She's just so pretty
Sometimes, I just have a moment where I look at my children and I am amazed. Not only at how beautiful or handsome they are on the outside, but also on the inside. Caitlin has such beautiful hair and a pretty face, but she has also just spent about half an hour voluntarily cleaning the conservatory so that her and the boys can sleep in there. The boys didn't help her, but she did it anyway, by herself, because she loves to have fun with them.
Such a good big sister.

The 4am wake up call
It seems to have become a bit of a habit for me to wake up at 4am! I'm not really sure why, as Elmo is still fast asleep, but there we are! I have experienced a similar thing with all of my pregnancies, and usually the time I wake up during pregnancy is the time the baby wakes up after he/ she (but mostly he) is born.
It's difficult to know what to do. On the one hand I am usually fairly awake and can get things done, BUT if I do that, it means I am shattered for the rest of the day and soon that will mean I am tired at work. If I lay in bed, I am tossing and turning for ages, though I do entertain myself with Twitter, Facebook and Sims!!! Very often I also disturb Lewis, though I try not to!
Anyhow, I got up this morning because in addition to my 4am wake up call, I also seem to be really hungry the last few days and I forgot to put cereal bars in my drawer yesterday. So here I am, awake at silly o'clock and pondering whether or not to have asparagus for first breakfast....The joys of pregnancy!

Summer Holidays 2012
Walking, and doing some Olympics inspired running, across the Humber Bridge.
At Hannah Murphy's Baptism
Exploring the 20:21 Gallery (how cute are my boys?)
A photo taken to amuse Lewis; barefoot, pregnant (23 weeks) and in the kitchen!
Lewis and his little side kick. Lewis sat down to play on the PS3 before he went off to work and within seconds Esaias was sat beside him, shouting directions for Lewis. So cute, in a manly type way!
