Summer days 2016
Esaias was invited to attend a summer school at John Legott College for gifted and talented children. He had an absolute blast (literally!) They had great fun building rockets, burning jelly babies and visiting Hull University. Esaias has big plans for his future and this really inspired him to reach for the stars.
We also spent a fabulous day at Eureka! This place NEVER fails us!
For one afternoon I gave my kitchen over to Caitlin, Olivia and Evie. They shut themselves in with a pile of yummy ingredients and we had piles of cupcakes as a result. As you can see Esaias and Nathan chose just the right time to sneak in to the kitchen!
In between days out and cousins coming over to play, the kids have had a great time just goofing off. A great summer, but with only one more big day out I am aware that it will be time for them to go back to school soon. As much as I will appreciate a bit more time with Lewis, I will be sad to see them go. Esaias heads off to secondary school this year *sigh*
The Deep Summer 2016
With four of our own and two foster children we decided to go for broke and add a couple of nieces and a nephew to make our trip to the Deep extra crazy! It was kind of nuts, but we had a lovely day!
