An observation...
Tonight I went to see Rumours of Fleetwood Mac with Mum, Chris and Lewis and had a great time.
As a child I used to spend 3 hours or so in a car with my Dad, travelling between his home in Norfolk and our home. He has a pretty "interesting" taste in music, but of the many cassette tapes (kids you might need to Google the word cassette) he had one of the Rumours album by Fleetwood Mac, which I grew to love for 2 reasons:
1) Fleetwood Mac are a great band
2) the rest of the music he had was rubbish
This evening, I watched a crazy lady dance by herself in a hall of 300+ people, (who were enjoying the music, but in a sitting down way) to her favourite songs that obviously reminded her of good times so much so that she couldn't help but dance. I told Lewis that I felt the same way about "Parklife" by Blur, I would probably dance by myself in a hall full of people because I would find it impossible to sit down during that song. I think that it is amazing how certain songs can have such an effect on you. For example Parklife, Reach for the Stars, Things can Only Get Better, Addicted to Bass, Don't rain on my Parade ... all feel good songs for me. Possibility, Hotel California, Don't Give up ...all songs that make me feel horribly sad and I will avoid. Going back to my Dad, I learnt very quickly to gauge his mood by what songs he was listening to. If he listened to Yes, Argent or Fleetwood Mac; things would generally be ok. If he started listening to the Eagles or Fish Marillion I knew I was in for a rough time, and I literally thanked God tonight that my children do not know that fear and I hope they never do.

Phineas's Blessing
We had a lovely blessing for Phineas yesterday. It was nice to have both of our families present, even if mine were weirded out a bit!! I was very grateful to Jamie who kept her talk simple :)
Phineas
I have been neglecting my blog terribly! Mostly due to sleep deprivation! So here are some recent pictures of Phineas to bring the blog up to date. He is very purposefully smiling now, and while he smiles for all of us he favours his big sister with some of his best smiles!
He has also started to swat at his toys which is very cute :)
Other than that, there is not much to tell!

Mum, Caitlin and I went to Brigg Garden Centre and enjoyed scampi and chips and just "aping" around!!
And Phineas has mostly being having bad hair days!
Poor Lewis had to go back to work...boo!! But he also got to test his snowboard out today that he got for Christmas...yay!

Happy New Year!
I like having a New Year, it is like a clean slate, so exciting and full of possibilities. I have some goals and some ideas of things I would like to do this year. Mostly I would like a boring drama free year!!
