Defying Gravity

My 30th birthday was....interesting!  But since turning 30 I have realised that I have become a lot less tolerant of people who "bring me down".  I have promised myself that I will only surround myself with people who lift me up, and focus my attention on helping them and being a friend to them instead of trying to please people who will never be happy.  It's cheesy I know, but this song really captures how I feel at this point in time.  I thought that I would like to record this memory of feeling liberated, so that in times when I am being brought down I can listen to it and get myself back up again.

Half Term Fun

Happy Doodling

It is so lovely to see Nathan sat at the table happily colouring.  Today he asked me if he could colour.  He said he was going to draw me a picture of himself...it was very cute!

We had a very nice day at Church today, the children were very well behaved, and when we came home we had a lovely afternoon just enjoying each other's company.  Here's hoping the rest of the half term holiday continues like this.
